La nuova Seat Leon, come ci mostrano queste immagini (i camuffamenti sono pesanti, ma se osservate con attenzione lo potrete notare, sotto i veli), è stata disegnata usando il nuovo linguaggio estetico della casa automobilistica: sarà la prima vettura dell’azienda del Gruppo Volkswagen, cioè, a vestirsi di un abito spigoloso, più razionale, più tagliente e diretto, molto deciso e davvero più ruvido dell’attuale. Anche la carrozzeria della media di segmento C sembra aver perso le caratteristiche attuali: sembra, cioè, aver abbandonato le forme gommose e bombate dell’attuale Leon per acquisire maggiore determinazione (il corpo è più basso, apparentemente più sportivo – notate la linea del portellone posteriore e l’andamento del tetto – e snello).
Merito della piattaforma MQB, cioè del nuovo pianale modulare di cui viene dotata la terza generazione di Seat Leon? Probabilmente no (dato che si tratta solo di una “base”): più credibilmente il brand ha desiderio forte di imprimere una svolta netta nella propria gamma e di migliorare il volume di vendite della propria hatchback.
Proprio per queste motivazioni anche la meccanica, la qualità, l’atmosfera nell’abitacolo, la dotazione di serie e l’equipaggiamento optional sono stati maggiormente curati, nel caso di questa nuova Seat Leon.
